I love the classic silver case (rather than the PVD version) as well the very legible black/white face. Silver and black; hard to go wrong with that. I have gears turning in the back of my head about all the different strap options that will compliment this watch. The font on the face is attractive and appropriate for a large watch like this. Nothing is over done or over the top. Translation? This watch is tasteful! I really dislike when things are taken a little too far and seem to try a little too hard (e.g. some, not all, welder watches come to mind). Control yourself! Buy a CSAR! That said, it is a large watch no doubt. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and like I said, large yet nicely within aesthetic reason. Haven't yet, but I imagine it would wear very nicely in the office, especially with a nice brown gator strap. ***Update - wearing to the office will command numerous compliments and a little bit of jealousy from other watch snobs. Did I mention the CSAR oozes quality & masculinity?

My wife surprised me today with the Csar Stainless White that I had been spying a few weeks ago. I hinted that it would make a nice birthday present and they were temporarily marked down so I shot her a link and bingo! The best part is, it's not my birthday until November! Now about the watch... This is my second Debaufre watch and it is just as impressive as the the first (Nav-B) that I purchased last year which is still pristine. The lume is excellent as is the overall feel and finish of this watch. WOW! As much as I have searched the internet, I have not found anything like it. All I can say is, so far Debaufre watches have impressed me more than any of the 15 - 20 other watches I own and I'm looking forward to getting another!

Received the Csar a couple days ago and only 4 words can describe it: "Bad to the Bone"! I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived here in California (from Switzerland) on Monday morning. Amazing! This watch is a great design - I wouldn't change a thing. The case is beefy and truly unique. I feel it will have long lasting staying power. It is destined to become a classic. The hex bolts are very cool. This is a good sized watch and I have a small wrist so I added a couple of holes to the strap. I did it with a drill press because the leather is pretty thick. I took the advice of another Csar owner and tightened down all the hex bolts with the tool that was included. They weren't loose but they had a little more room to go. If you're thinking of buying this watch DO IT! I've owned many multi-thousand dollar watches and this one puts those others to shame. At this price point this watch is a steal. I hope Debaufre keeps this model around for a long time. Thanks Debaufre!

I have been eyeing up the CSARs for some time and just had to get one.
The quality and styling is stupendous and something you'd see and expect out of watches that cost as much as 10x the price of the CSAR.
Design-wise, I love that all of the screws are hex head and the tool provided works perfectly for swapping straps.
What is also nice is that you don't need 2 tools... 1 does the job.
I guess its something with the way the tube bites into the inside of the lug?
Looking closely, and I never noticed this, the case is actually 3 pieces.
Case-back, case center and case top and yes, the screws going thru the
top of the case are functional. How cool is that?
I received the standard A+/100%/Top Quality service from
Elsa that I had received in the past.
She is definitely in touch with her customer's needs and wants and I still
have not found better customer service ANYWHERE ELSE!
Do yourself a favor and buy
one of their watches, YOU WILL BE PLEASED!

Bought this with the S&D special and could not find a scratch on it. I have worn this watch everyday since getting it and have received many compliments. It is a solid & strong looking/feeling watch. Very impressed with my first Debaufre. Thank you.
