This is the left-side winding Marine Timer watch, using the Swiss Unitas 6498 hand-wind movement, a much requested timepiece by watch-forum members and timepiece collectors. Powered by the extremely accurate Swiss made Unitas hand-winding movement, which is enhanced by beautiful blue screws and a special "Cote de Geneve" engraving. The sapphire crystal glass is coated with a non-glare coating. A rare design with the crown on the left side of the watch, the dial offers a unique style with classic over-tones. General note: be sure that you don't over-wind this watch. You will feel the crown getting stiffer when the watch is nearing fully wound, be careful when winding to not over-wind. Marine Timer July 29, 2008 Reviewer: Michael Puffer from Milwaukee, WI United States   As soon as I saw the "Marine Timer" on the web site I ordered one. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED!  It's everything I hoped it would be an MORE!  it is a masterpiece of enginering and aesthetics. The build quality and finishing is TOP RATE!   I would call this piece a "True Instrument Watch" with it's separate Hour and Minute scales (just beautifully done, as is the design of the unique hour hand).  The pocket watch styled crown is a pleasure to wind (and invites you to do so) and adds to the overall uniqueness of this watch. Simply put: "THIS WATCH IS AWESOME"  I am a true aficionado and collector of fine watches for 30 years now. The timing rate is outstanding as is the decoration of the movement (and the case setting).  The "Fire-Blued" screws (every single one) and the "Cote de Geneve" are flawless.  The sapphire crystal is even Non-Glare coated!  A truley OUTSTANDING VALUE for the money.  I just can't say enough about the quality of Debaufre!!!!
