The hands on the Nav-B watch are blued on the edges. This watch is powered by the Swiss ETA 2824-2 Automatic Movement. The 44-mm ETA Automatic Nav-B watch is the much desired stainless steel pilot's watch, now in a special 44-mm size, a classic timepiece with historical style. This is the ETA 2824-2 Automatic version of the classic Nav-B watch which was originally designed back in the early days of aviation, about 1920, when 'precision' wasn't just a catch-phrase but a coin-toss on fate. Pilots would actually navigate based on time, which meant their watch had to be very accurate otherwise they could be flying miles off course. The Debaufre Nav-B ETA automatic watch features a historical engraved case back depicting a classic pilot. The crown is a button crown (a diamond-crown can be ordered separately with the watch), which winds smoothly and precisely. Hands glowing proudly as you travel with the watch from day to night, watching the sleek sweeping second hand glide around the watch dial. The 44-mm Nav-B ETA automatic watch is mounted on a brown calf leather strap with 2 rivets. This watch uses the famous ETA 2824-2 Swiss movement with a solid case back. This timepiece makes an absolute statement of confidence and style, now in the much desired and requested 44-mm size. The beautiful sounds of the Swiss Jura Alps tick crisp and clear from the midst of this watch. Excelent pilots watch April 22, 2009 Reviewer: Sean Zorio from Raleigh, NC United States   I bought the auto with the sterile dial and love it.  The watch is a good size, the movement is great, and the hands/dial are very attractive. The strap has a nice thickness, but the keepers are a touch thin for my tastes. Anyone know what the number on the bottom of the case is? Was this review helpful to you?

Thoroughly Impressed!! December 30, 2008 Reviewer: J. Kirke from Omaha, NE United States   This watch is a true masterpiece.  From the fit and finish, it's easily the best watch i've owned to date.  I can't recomment it enough.  For those that truly want a classic timepiece, the Nav-B is for you.  The simplicity of the dial really makes this a work of art.  And that smooth sweeping seconds hand sets this thing OFF!!!!! Thanks to those at Debaufre for a wonderful experience and a SMOOTH transaction.  Glad I took advantage of that holiday shipping.  From shipping to wrist, less than 36 hours. Simple, Timeless, and Clean. December 23, 2008 Reviewer: M.S. from Concord, CA United States   For those of you wanting a timepiece that says "I'm a watchguy" without the bling and gaudiness of many of today's watches, this is your baby.  Being a fan of simple dials and quality timepieces, I figured I'd give the Nav-B automatic a try.  I already own a couple of Ocean 1's so I am familiar with the superior quality of these timepieces.  Right out of the beautiful leather-grain box the watch is stark and gorgeous in it's simplicity.  The blued hands glow strikingly against the matte black dial.  The leather watchband is as thick as a belt and appears as though it will last into the next century.  The lume is very good and I really like the fact that the sweeping second hand glows as well.  Nice touch.  Overall, I am extremely confident to recommend this watch to anyone wanting a superior quality watch for a truly bargain price.  Many thanks to the Elsa and super crew at Debaufre for offering this timepiece at a holiday special price!
