I have only one thing to say about this watch and that is it's pricing point. It is like a bottle of wine. Yes, we all love (or used to in my case) some lower end Chardonnays, but the real classics were and still are from Burgundy and they fetch a princely sum - understatement of the year. If Debaufre had the resources to extensively market their product, they would sell three time as many watches for three times the current price. The hands of this piece come from the same supplier as Glashutte and with the blue trim are identical to the GO Nav series etc. The movement, as we all know, is a dying breed, since Mr. Swatch himself plans on total market domination by bringing solely in-house Unitas, ETA & Valjoux. What else is there to say - buy as many of these watches as one can, before Debaufre run out of the movement, as soon as the Swiss & Germans get to work at the end of this month!
